Webuild has signed the AUD 1.8 billion (€1.1 billion) contract for the overall amount for designing and constructing the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, in Western Australia, following last December’s appointment as the preferred respondent. 

The project will be entirely built by Webuild. 
 
Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project is destined to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and will expand the healthcare services for women, children and their families in the State of West Australia, transforming the capacity of two important healthcare campuses: the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.
